About Faezeh Nejad, DPM
Dr. Nejad graduated from Tehran University in Iran with a bachelor's degree in cellular molecular biology and a master’s degree in the same field from California State University in Sacramento. Dr. Nejad received her doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she graduated with Pi delta honor recognition. Following her medical school training, she completed three years of surgical residency at Metropolitan/Lincoln hospital in New York City.
Dr. Nejad is well trained in all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery with an emphasis on trauma, sports medicine, biomechanics, minimally invasive foot and ankle surgeries, diabetic limb salvage, and wound care.
Dr. Nejad is committed to excellence in treating patients, both surgically and non-surgically, by offering evidence-based information and innovative treatments. Dr. Nejad is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Nejad is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, New York State Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
In her free time, Dr. Nejad enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her toddler daughter and husband, and spending time with friends. Dr. Nejad is a fitness enthusiast and has volunteered at multiple sports events such as the New York half marathon. Dr. Nejad understands how debilitating a foot and ankle injury can be and will try her best to make sure her patients get back to routine active life as soon as possible.
