About Jonathan Richard Roy, DPM, MS
Jonathan Richard Roy, DPM, MS, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon in the greater New York City and New Jersey area. He serves patients at DeLoor Podiatry Associates in the Lenox Hill and Koreatown areas in Manhattan and Bath Beach area in Brooklyn.
He earned his bachelor’s degree at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. He continued his studies at Adelphi University while working in the chemistry department and earned his Master of Science to further his education. He then attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
He is a board certified foot and ankle surgeon with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is an associate member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine
Dr. Roy received his strong surgical education at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital, where he earned a degree in podiatric reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. He was also elected as one of the chief residents in his final year of training. Dr. Roy’s specialty includes minimally invasive surgery, sports medicine, regenerative medicine therapy, skin and nail treatment, forefoot and rearfoot injuries, innovative pain management, and biomechanics.
Dr. Roy is a New York State Police Surgeon with over three years of service and a Police Surgeon for the New Jersey Police Department Benevolent Association. He is trained in AO/Fixation for trauma to the foot and ankle, foot and ankle arthroscopy, and advanced treatment measures for all foot and ankle pathologies.
